As half of Cleveland party Heaven is in You, Miah Benton (adab) puts heavy emphasis on translating the unifying elements between us through djing. Characterized often by their palette of sounds, they made a niche for themselves in Cleveland, Ohio spinning a variety of sounds and venues alike. Having started djing dance music, primarily, as a result of finding Cleveland's queer techno party In Training and being a non binary black youth raised across a few states in the Rustbelt, adab seeks to unabashedly present refreshing perspectives and dialogues for both themself and others.
