KST Alloy Studios
Just blocks away from Kelly Strayhorn Theater are KST’s Alloy Studios: two flexible spaces well-suited for parties, workshops, meetings, dance classes, rehearsals, film screenings, performances and more!
The Downstairs Studio is a two-story black box theater with floor-to-ceiling windows and a flexible, raised seating bank for up to 70 guests. The studio boasts upgraded LED theatrical lighting, a 30’ x 15’ projection surface, professional audio, dance flooring, blackout curtains and two newly renovated dressing rooms.
The Upstairs Studio is a traditional rehearsal studio equipped with a beautiful, sprung hardwood floor, a full-wall mirror, audio playback equipment and windows along two walls for plenty of daylight and a panoramic view of Penn Avenue.
Both studios are wheelchair accessible and include amenities to ensure a seamless experience for all guests. Whether you’re planning to host dance classes, your mom’s 90th birthday party or a brand new production, our professional event team is ready to help you bring your next event to life!
