Mound of Orchids is a Pittsburgh-based black metal and post-metal band drawing on blackgaze and atmospheric metal traditions. The band features members also active in Moongazer, Vale, Windchimes, and Serein. Their 2026 EP "Silhouettes" continues their exploration of layered, textural heaviness.
