Variety the Children's Charity

With a mission to empower children with disabilities to live life to the fullest, Variety the Children’s Charity provides social inclusion experiences and life-changing mobility and communication equipment to ensure our most vulnerable kids are no longer left out, behind, or excluded. Children with disabilities face a multitude of challenges and obstacles that are often unrecognized to those without disabilities. No child should be denied the opportunity to have typical childhood milestones simply because they have a disability, but Variety’s programs are helping kids, be kids, and thrive.

Specifically, our mobility and communication programs are giving kids with disabilities and their families new possibilities and chances to live a fuller life. The equipment is not often covered by insurance or easily accessible, so the kids are sadly missing out on the transformative impact that comes from an adaptive bike, adaptive stroller, and communication device. The programs of Variety are reaching unmet needs, as we aim to improve the child’s health and wellbeing (priority on safety), education, social inclusion, relationships with family/friends, as well as many more benefits on an individual level.
