Fresh out of Brooklyn is ALKHEMY, a Bushwick-based techno collective that is at the forefront of the rapidly progressing, underground scene in NYC. A true believer in restoring the traditional concept of the rave, and proud activists in highlighting diversity within the techno scene, Remedy welcomes ALKHEMY for a special showcase. Resident DJ and co-founder of ALKHEMY, Xiorro, will be joined by BUZZI, a native Bushwick DJ and producer for a night of blazingly dynamic, dark and gritty techno that will surely satisfy your weekend dancing vibes.

A fresh face in Brooklyn’s underground techno community, Xiorro burst onto the scene in 2016 as co-founder of ALKHEMY. As resident DJ at The Black Hole, ALKHEMY’s monthly underground techno party, he introduced his taste for dark, fast, industrial techno. Xiorro has played as support amongst distinguished acts such as, Boris Brenecki, Plural, Ayarcana, Patrick Russell, Paul Birken and 138. A true proponent of highlighting diversity in the underground scene and preserving the original concept of the rave, Xiorro speaks to his crowd through rattling, progressive and high-hitting sonic dialogue.

Buzzi

Bushwick-born and Ridgewood-raised, Buzzi is a techno producer and DJ. His techno compositions utilize analog and digital synthesizing technologies, while exploring the perceptual representation of space through sound, and mysterious innovative gates. His work mainly features vintage drum machine samples. Buzzi’s productions and performances have been related to a 90’s high tempo techno sound. Buzzi has worked with labels such as – Nervous Records, Afterwave Records, Terminator Records - as well as fathering his own imprint Bold. He has been contributing to the underground techno music scene since 2013.
