We are so excited to announce the second installment of the Beyond Microtonal Music Festival! This season's festival will focus on the theme of “Cultural Roots/Cultural Intersections” and will explore compelling microtonal music that travels across cultural boundaries. Through three days of concerts and symposia, Beyond will address the nature and current status of “microtonal music” and especially its relationship to World Music as well as the diversity within our own community.

The second concert of the festival will feature composer/curator of the Harry Partch Instrumentarium Charles Corey and Violinist/improvisor Luke Fitzpatrick performing Harry Partch's 'Barstow' and 'Li Po Settings'.

Loadbang will make their second Beyond appearance to perform works by Michael Edward Edgerton, Taylor Brook, Eve Belgarian and more.
