Because Pennsylvania has a closed primary system, you MUST be a registered party member. Independents are excluded from participating in primaries. Yeah, we think it’s a stupid rule too. We can change it, but first, it does require you to make sure you are registered to vote as a DEMOCRAT by April 15 for the May 15 primary.
We are one month away from the primary. This is the first time in a DECADE that voters are going to have a choice in who represents them in the 21st District. Sara Innamorato is running to challenge the status quo and say that we deserve more from our elect officials. So if want to vote out the guy who said, “they aren’t even animals and they deserve to die.” when referring to incarcerated individuals. If you no longer want someone who has voted to defund sanctuary cities, against a woman’s right to choice, and supports the NRA's “sue our cities” bill, this party is for you.
