HEROINEBURGH is a live-action superheroine video series based in Pittsburgh, featuring all original characters representing various neighborhoods, ethnicities, subcultures and orientations in the region. More information on the characters and stories at

The first season features 13 origin stories of the heroines, who acquire their various powers when the city is bombarded by a dark meteor. In episodes 8-10, meet a Carnegie Mellon engineer with unusual magnetism and repair abilities; a feline-powered activist veterinarian from the Pittsburgh Zoo; and an alternative energy inventor who rides the winds.

There's adventure, romance and comedy, and plenty of special effects and spandex costumes. Also a great soundtrack featuring a lot of Pittsburgh music. It's a live-action comic book from the Steel City! Meet and greet the actors at the reception.
