Corazón de Robota (Chile)
The music of Corazón de Robota is organic, entrancing, and unapologetic. The array of handbuilt electronic instruments blushes and babbles like an appreciative child in the hands of her benevolent creator.
Constanza Piña earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Playa Ancha, Valparaiso Chile, plus post-graduate work in Contemporary Dance at University of Valparaiso, a special diploma in Digital Video Technology and Online / Offline in the superior School of Design ESDi (MECAD / Media Center d’Art & Design, Spain) and is a candidate Master in Media Art from the University of Chile.
She is co-director of the Art and Technology Laboratory Chimbalab and has conducted numerous Workshops and lectures about electronic experimentation and DIY Culture. She is also member of sudamerica experimental, an independent sharing and collaborative platform for Electronic Arts projects.
