The Second Annual – Howard Red Shoes Harvey Birthday Dance Party and Community Human Services Benefit

NOTE: Yes, this event is open to the public & the bar will be open for business. Belvederes is nonsmoking.

Join us as we use Howard’s Birthday as an excuse to have a Sunday dance party, to see old friends and to make new ones; but most importantly to raise some money for an incredible organization that makes such an important and effective difference right here in our community.

Community Human Services outreach services includes a Food Pantry, Housing Assistance Programs, In Home Services, Residential Programs for those with physical or behavioral health disabilities, Affordable Housing and Youth Programs.

DJ Poptone, Paula and Stephen will spinning great dance music from 7pm till 10pm on Sunday March 3rd at Belvederes Ultra Dive – you can expect to hear music from the 1970 through today for genres including: 80’s / new wave / dark wave / post punk / indie / dance pop / neo soul / funk.

Belvederes has a giant dancefloor with awesome lights and sound system, a great bar that’s somewhat separate from the dance floor so you can enjoy your drink in an area with the music volume a little lower. Belv’s also has 3 pool tables, dart board and pinball. There is plentiful street parking and additional parking in nearby PNC and Citizens lots (they don’t enforce customer only parking after business hours) – but avoid parking at GetGo next door and Wendy’s if their dining room is open.

Belvederes Ultra Dive is located one block from the40th street bridge on Butler St, the main drag in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh (It’s in between downtown and the zoo. )

I know CHS, their hard working dedicated staff and folks that they help, all appreciate it.
