About the Performers
MHYSA & SCRAAATCH – SCRAAATCH is the Philadelphia sound and performance art duo of MHYSA and lawd knows. They have performed at MoMA PS1, The Kitchen, MoCADA, and the New Museum in NY. They’re known for a chaotic and energetic hybrid DJ/live PA style. MHYSA is a Queer Black Diva and underground popstar for the cyber resistance from Prince George’s County, Maryland. Her debut album, fantasii, was released to glowing reception.
dj formosa - Stephanie Tsong is a DJ, music curator, visual artist, and one-third of queer Pittsburgh dance party, Jellyfish (with Ricky Moslen and Adam Shuck.) Her obsession with dance music started in her college years where she spent most of her time in record stores and gay clubs in DC. Sonically, her sets vary from synth pop to italo to afro disco and anything you can move your body to.
girlFx is a collective of women and non-binary individuals who stand for ownership and representation in the nightlife community. They host a resident party at Hot Mass every 5th Saturday, Ace Hotel’s monthly "In The Weeds," and "Tea Time," a sober after-hours event during the cold months at Dobra Tea.
THIRD THURSDAY IS LATER, LOUDER, AND ADULTS ONLY
Third Thursday brings together the hottest local talent from around the city to create surprising one-of-a-kind experiences. Turn up the volume with a cash bar, live music, and performances along with late-night access to the museum galleries.
