In WANNABE’s world, language is irrelevant and beats speak for themselves. Hailing from D.C. and now based in Medellín, Colombia, WANNABE has spent half a lifetime spinning, playing and booking music events. Be it BODYWORK, MALX, Millennial Pink, or any of their many projects, WANNABE throws your favorite dance party’s favorite dance party. Their Halloween 2018 EP “Wannabe Is,” a compendium of their favorite upbeat dance styles, delves into WANNABE’s shadowy sonic landscapes, marked by pulsating beats and fuzzed out samples. Their urbana project brings perreo back into the rave with trancey leads and classic dembow loops. WANNABE firmly believes in preserving trans and queer spaces, celebrating for no reason in particular and decolonizing the dance floor.

HUNY is a DJ, event producer, creative director, and king of all trades soundtracking and producing Black femme and queer-centered events via event collective Darkness is Spreading. Her sets are heavy on ballroom vogue beats, house, hip-hop, 90's R&B, and dancehall...but anything with a nasty beat, genre-aside, can get it, too.
Formosa is a dj, music curator, artist and ⅓ of queer Pittsburgh dance party jellyfish. Her obsession with dance music started in college when she spent most of her time in record stores and gay clubs in DC and Baltimore. Her sets are a journey for ears and feet - synth pop, italo disco, to afro-boogie, freestyle, japanese city-pop - anything you can move your body to.
