Nightshade is your weekday workout, your monthly dose of humpday hi-hats. Held at The Goldmark the last Wednesday of the month and curated by Longturn resident B-Tru, you know it's a vibe. B-Tru will be joined by a different guest each month, each showcasing their own flavor of house music.

This month's guest is Glo Phase. Glo Phase is the solo project of professional composer and multi-instrumentalist, Joseph Rusnak. Although Glo Phase is a relatively new project (2016), Rusnak has been producing, performing, and touring in multiple bands and projects since the early 2000s. Under Glo Phase he has released a steady stream of mixed genre electronic music, heavily emphasizing a balance between dreamy and dancey soundscapes. In addition to his releases, Rusnak regularly performs live sets with a variety of analog gear, spanning distinctive moods and colors.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the LongTurn.

Longturn Music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.

Come early, stay late, dance hard.
