The SouthSide Works has partnered with local producers and musicians to bring you a new outdoor social space for the summer. Located across from the American Eagle headquarters, this new space is green, with views of the Monongahela River and plenty of space for pop-up events. The programming, titled Music on the Mon, starts on July 2 and will take place weekly every Friday at 7 p.m. (with some Saturday dates).

July 9th we will showcase local women in arts and production. Sound Girls Pittsburgh will be taking over the South Side Music on the Mon!

SoundGirls supports women working in professional audio and music production by highlighting their success and providing a place for them to connect, network, and share advice and experiences.

SoundGirls provides support, career development, and tools to help those working in the field advance in their career.

SoundGirls works to inspire and empower young women and girls to enter the world of professional audio and music production.

SoundGirls seeks to expand opportunities for girls and women in these fields and to share resources and knowledge through cooperation, collaboration, and diversity.

The night will showcase an all female production crew as well as all female artists!

Century III is a three-piece garage rock band from Pittsburgh, PA. Named after a locally beloved now-dead mall, their 60’s inspired harmonies and songwriting display a depth of emotion while bringing a fun and contagious energy to the stage.

Lady Beast is based out of Pittsburgh, PA and is everything Heavy Metal.....with NWOBHM influence combined with Motorhead, Thin Lizzy and Mercyful Fate.

Sierra Sellers is a neo-soul singer/songwriter whose influences range from Erykah Badu to Carlos Santana. Her soulful voice is captivating, while the simplicity of her lyrics causes one to feel as though she is speaking directly to you.

Pittsburgh-based Skye Light began crafting vocal toplines for EDM songs in early 2017. Since then, she has worked with producers from all around the world, and her collaborations have gained over a million plays on Spotify. Skye also continues to work on her own solo material, which is best described as dark, dreamy electropop.

Pa Libations will be serving up delicious cocktails, come and have a drink. Play some lawn games, grab dinner from the Ash & Kris food truck and don’t forget dessert and coffee from Sinkers and Suds! All while supporting local Pittsburgh female artists.

We will see you dahn the river!
