On Thursday, August 12, enjoy happy hour in the museum's outdoor sculpture courtyard with a DJ set by HUNY, Joshua Orange, and Based Grave representing the Mostbeautifullest collective (aka The MoB). BE READY TO DANCE!

Bring your appetite, too! Food by Mr. Bulgogi and a bar created by Café Carnegie offering custom snacks, kid-friendly treats, local beers, delicious wines, and more will be on-site.

While you’re at Inside Out, participate in art-making activities for all ages.

Inside Out events are FREE and open to all ages. Make a day of it and reserve your timed tickets to visit the museum galleries before or after you enjoy Inside Out!

About the Artists:

HUNY (she/they) is a DJ, photographer, and king of all trades soundtracking and producing events via the Mostbeautifullest collective. Bred in NYC and currently residing in Pittsburgh, her work in music and the visual arts is rooted in exalting Black women & LGBTQ+ communities. HUNY sets are genre-defying: vogue beats, house, techno, dancehall...anything with a nasty beat can get it. She’s also currently in the running for Best Club DJ in Pittsburgh City Paper’s Best of Pittsburgh 2021.

Joshua Orange (aka Disco Gundam) is a Detroit-born/Pittsburgh-based multimedia artist and legislative policy analyst. As a DJ, their sets span a range of genres that foster a sense of warm waves/sonic intimacy. From radiant soul handed down from their mother, to Detroit techno and hip-hop, remixes and crate digger selections, DiscoGundam sets make space for catharsis, movement, exploration, discovery, freedom, liberation, growth, and celebration.

Based Grace is a multi-genre DJ known for effortlessly transitioning from go-to anthems to brand new tracks to deep cuts—whatever it takes to go keep it poppin. Grace's ear for quality music, combined with her unique style and addictive energy, makes her an increasingly established favorite in Pittsburgh and beyond.

About Inside Out:

Inside Out is Carnegie Museum of Art’s new outdoor summer event series celebrating and supporting Pittsburgh’s rich cultural landscape.
