After a brief hiatus last month (how cute was that @miscellaneous.records @__slowdanger__ @rojowashere takeover?), we're back with two out-of-town creative powerhouses! This March's Take Care brings @themoonbaby & @leonce with support from Pgh's own @formosa.exe 💟🏵🎆
Born and raised in New Orleans, now living in Atlanta, Leonce is uncompromising, blending elements of American Urban and experimental electronica, a hardline style that influenced his development as a producer. With tracks born from live jam sessions, Leonce emulates sonic qualities of acoustic recording in his distinctive percussive tracks that carry many influences from his southern upbringing. Leonce has been featured in The Fader, Paper Magazine, Resident Advisor & more for his productions, bootlegs, & mixes. In 2019 he released 2 new critically acclaimed projects: “Penetration Testing” on his newly minted Morph Tracks label and his Night Slugs debut with his 4th EP
“Tripwires”.
