You could have called this a reunion but that looks too far into the past and doesn’t give this lineup it’s just due. 15 years to the month since The Ill Spoken’s breakout ‘How High’ mixtape dropped by Beedie & the late Mac Miller, this show finds Beedie and Bill Waves connecting in the prime of their respective artistries live on stage in Pittsburgh, PA for 1 night only.
Fresh off of the releases of Beedie’s ‘Lord Byron’ album and Bill Waves’ ‘Billy’ album, The Yellow Ghost and the Beat Bully are rapping in peak form and are seemingly still just getting started in 2023 — After their collaborative album ‘U Had 2 Be There’ earlier this spring, it appears they may be gearing up to release another batch of music together.
Featuring support from Union / Grind Hard DJs affiliate DJ Big Phill, as well as sets spinning music from the multi-talented C.Scott and pvkvsv.

About Beedie
It’s clear that Pittsburgh based hip-hop artist Beedie has a long & storied history — from beginning his career with Mac Miller in the duo The Ill Spoken, to working with the likes of Statik Selektah, Sean Price, and even hitting the road with Wiz Khalifa — with years of grinding culminating to rightfully position himself as a frontrunner in the underground rap renaissance.
With a slew of 2023 releases totaling over 50 songs, he insists that his latest offering - “Lord Byron”, fully produced by platinum selling fellow Pittsburgher, Big Jerm - is his best and most undeniable yet. Featuring guest verses from the likes of Styles P, Elzhi, Fashawn & more, it would be difficult to deny Beedie his own spot in the greater hip-hop lexicon. As the title suggests, “Lord Byron” appears to have truly mastered his craft.

About Bill Waves
BILL NIELS, also known as BILL WAVES, began his music career in 2013 as "BILL," featured alongside Earl Sweatshirt in Mac Miller's dark fantasy horror-core project, "Delusional Thomas."
In 2014, he released a subsequent project called "VAGRANT," with Miller's assistance in producing two songs and securing an additional feature from Top Dawg ENT's Ab-Soul.
Following the 2014 project, Bill's work became scarce during a long and arduous battle with opiate addiction.
He began his recovery in 2016 and has since released several projects, with the highest concentration of work occurring from 2021 to the present.
Bill is determined to leave the same lasting impression on his listeners that he has consistently made with some of the most respected names in hip-hop.
