uNIVersal reCVR in collaboration with, Nasty Taxi, and 8Cylinder are proud to present: THE AV CLUB, an immersive 2 room, night of Video Art, Live Electronic Music, and Art Installation
The Parkway Theater and Film Lounge is a small independent 45 seat movie theater in McKees Rocks, just 15 mins from most places in the city. The Parkway Theater offers a full bar with some food options and is also home to, Abjuration Brewing, which is a regionally top ranked small batch micro brewery.
The THEATER room will feature LIVE VIDEO MIXING by 8cylinder and Nasty Taxi on the theater screen to accompany the music of, PAILO playing all original made on the spot live electronics, Metaterrestrial bringing their flavor of deep otherworldly bass music, and last but not least BredNotBred playing his live modular synth based IDM.
The LOUNGE room will feature modular synth created Live Video Feedback Loops by Joseph Pailo, with a gnarly mix of DJed tracks by Ecelectus & Treebug!!!

The focus of this showcase is to highlight the more fringed artists Pittsburgh and the region has to offer, in a fully immersive, comfortable, fun, environment.
The Parkway Theater is easily accessible by bus. The theater is located directly on the West Park 24 bus line. The bus stop is at the front door of the entrance to the Parkway Theater with the inbound bus stop located directly across the street.
This show will start promptly as 9 and run until 1am.
If this show is successful and we get a nice turn out and everyone is happy we will turn this into bi-monthly or quarterly event.
