A decade ago, dj.william and Mr. Owl started a monthly chill downtempo music night at Eclipse lounge. There were some truly epic nights from that run. Then gentrification moved us along from there. We went to James Street Speakeasy next until it too shut down. Then there were some kids and weddings and a pandemic in between, and dj.william and Owl both semi-retired from DJing.

This Thursday at FatCatPGH, the two will be back together for the first time in half a decade as Open Format Thursday becomes PLAY!
This will be a night you don't want to miss! It's yr favorite DJs favorite two DJs going back and forth on the decks with all manner of Trip-Hop, Instrumental Hip-Hop, Funk, Techno, R&B, DnB, Industrial, House, Ambient, etc., etc., etc.!

If you miss old school PGH, or are young and want to know what we old heads used to get up to, you definitely don't want to sleep on this event!
The vibe will be all things deep, but there will be plenty of room to move yr body if a beat calls for you to move yr feet!
