This weekend, Humanaut is pleased to host two of our favorite jockey/selectahs, Davis Galvin and Ciel, for a night that is likely to make both your soul stronger and your brain wiser.

Hailing from Xi’an by way of Toronto, Cindy Li, aka Ciel (@ciel_dj), is a master of party-starting-and-extending music. Not only does she co-run the incredible Parallel Minds label, which hosts some of Toronto’s best and brightest electronic musicians, but she also has a bag jampacked with impeccably rude tunes that have been flexed all around the world many times over. Last time we had the pleasure of hosting her 7 years ago, alongside Titonton Duvante, the roof of the club was blown clean off and sent spinning 100 feet into the air like a cartoon.

On support we have local luminary Davis Galvin (@davisgalvin) . If you’ve been in Pittsburgh for even a brief time, this wizard of charming and strange rhythms needs no introduction. If you’re somehow not aware though, Davis is a rare case of some who can both skillfully produce tunes made to be heard on AND off the dancefloor, as well as take you on an absolutely journey behind the decks.
