Join us November 4th, in Pittsburgh, PA for a very special First Friday event at 5118 Penn Ave hosted by SubSanctuary! We'll kick things off at 5pm with a FREE art market featuring an array of visionary artists and crafters as well as organic food vendors, live painters, and flow performers. Bring a friend, find some inspiration, and connect with fellow forward-thinkers and makers here in the Pittsburgh area and beyond!

At 9pm we'll transition to a more music-driven vibe with psychedelic beats provided by two heavy-hitting locals:

Cryoverb, a Pittsburgh resident who 'explores the nebulous areas where subgenres & sonic flavors intersect & dissolve. Equally at home navigating deep space or re-contextualizing the audio fragments of ancient arboreal rhythms — Cryoverb sets are a mysterious soundtrack for a holographic “choose your own adventure” story. For the last 15 years I've collected ambient, Goa trance, chill, world, dub, psytrance & electronic music, while learning production, DJing techniques & storytelling. I'm active in US East coast Psytrance festivals, Burns & underground music [sub]culture.'

Wink, another thriving Pittsburgh local who's search for the true meaning of funk knows no end as he constantly pushes his own boundaries in creating wobble-heavy, glitched-out works of melodious, funky bass music. A resident SubSanctuary DJ and producer as well as long time friend, Wink lays it down with the solidarity and intention of a truly seasoned beat junkie veteran.

These two are well-versed in bringing sacred sonic frequencies to your mothership's front doors and will keep the dancefloor warm and gooey well past midnight. If you make it in before 9pm, admission to the basswave beatdown is only $5! If you arrive after 9pm, we'll be charged $10. But remember, regardless of what time you arrive, $1 of each ticket will be donated to our friend's local urban farming initiative, FIT.
