The Consortium presents Joe Fonda’s Eastern Boundary Quartet, a transatlantic collaboration merging avant-garde jazz with Hungarian folk traditions. Featuring Joe Fonda (bass), Michael Jefry Stevens (piano), Mihaly Borbely (saxophone), and Balazs Bagyi (drums), the group bridges jazz innovation from New York City and Budapest. They’ll be joined by local experimental duo Business Pants (Erik Cirelli + Chris Cannon). Expect boundary-pushing improvisation in an intimate setting.
