For this month's edition of Humanaut, we welcome a rapidly rising talent, and one of Dekmantel's staple artists – Palms Trax. His contemporary twists on house effortlessly tap the full spectrum of four to the floor dance music in ways that will sound just as fresh a decade from now as they do today.

Alongside him, finally making his Hot Mass debut, is local Pittsburgh veteran and scene hero Herman Soy Sos Pearl – owner of Tuff Sound Recording and one third of classic house band Three Generations Walking. For as long as we can remember, Herman has been the quiet, humble, smiling influencer of Pittsburgh music. This one is way overdue.
