Martin Freeman (Rochester, NY)

hellospiral.tumblr.com
Electronic instrument builder & musician Martin Freeman is the brains behind Repeater Electronics where he designs "homemade electronic audio mangling devices, unruly multi-oscillator units and unmarked chirping boxes" with names like the Horndog, the Grackler, and the Rungler. As an improviser, Freeman uses his modular synthesizer and other devices to generate unpredicatable pseudo-patterns that grackle and rungle through a seemingly endless array of timbres, textures, and transfigurations.

Pat Cain (Washington DC)
http://patrickjamescain.com/?page_id=7
Live visuals, electronics, maybe saxophone? An intermedia wild card of sorts, Pat Cain creates work that defies genres and builds on his love of homemade electronics, free jazz, mid-century experimental filmmaking, and sandwiches.

City Harvest Black (Rochester, NY)
https://soundcloud.com/1980records/301980-city-harvest-black-krakinwal-sample-652014
via 1980 records: "City Harvest Black is a slow imbrication of layers that uncurl to protect what lies beneath, it is the molten tectonic shifts that resound sonically above the surface. A filmmaker in the spirit of Stan Brakhage, a musician in the spirit of Brian Eno, an artist in the spirit of Lee Godie; a traveler, a writer, an artist, a dreamer. City Harvest Black rings with quarter-inch outputs of Yamaha keyboards and harmonizes with the resonances of hard wood, it is a topology of time eroded by inaudibly low hertz produced in meditation."
