Over the past few years Mor Elian has become a regular in LA’s burgeoning house and techno underground. She hosts a monthly radio program Plaza 2 Plaza on Dublab, has been featured on Boiler Room and has shared the stage with a variety of top-line DJs. Of all the artists she’s played with, it’s perhaps Trus’me who is the most important, as the Manchester DJ/producer signed Elian to his Prime Numbers imprint. Releasing her debut 12″, 323 to Plaza in 2015.

With a recent release on US label Finale Sessions and forthcoming material on her own label Fever Am, Elian has begun splitting her time between Los Angeles and Berlin along with acting as booker at the "Into The Woods" parties in Los Angeles.

Texture is unique in its combination of spatial curation, music programming, and intense preparation. This first year, we brought a diverse range of artists who are on the cutting edge of house/techno/electronic music, including several artist’s Detroit debuts.

The thematic spatial elements we bring to each event try to push the boundaries of how we, and our guests, interact with space and time. We are constantly work on collaborations with many local artists to create spatial installations at events.

Also, equally important, is showcasing a healthy balance of local guests with great record collections, taste, and skill. Having people with music knowledge and interests is integral to the development and future of Texture — and these individuals reflect the personal philosophies that our team shares.
