Deadly Buda Thursdays at Skylights

Throughout 1993 and into 1994, Deadly Buda held a weekly Thursday night residency at Skylights (2100 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh). Titled simply 'Deadly Buda Thursdays,' the night offered high-energy DJ sets of hardstyle, electronic, and bleeping beats. The vibe was inclusive and intense, featuring smart drinks, drink specials, and a call for unity across all races, genders, and viewpoints.

The event's unique artwork and wild energy captured the early spirit of Pittsburgh's underground rave movement.
