ERA

ERA was a massive multi-genre rave held on August 7, 1999 in Pittsburgh, PA, produced by House of Styles. It featured three dedicated stages: The Techno/Trance Stage, the House/Breaks Stage, and the Drum N’ Bass/Hardcore Stage. Headliners included techno legend Derrick May (Transmat, Detroit), Dieselboy (Philly), Supa DJ Dimitri (Deee-Lite, NYC), ESP Woody McBride (Communique, St. Paul), Fierce (UK), Expansion Union (Brooklyn), and dozens more across the underground electronic spectrum.

Pittsburgh was well-represented with artists like Joshua Ryan, TR-Generation, The Instigator, Michael Myers, Product 19, B.Dee, Andrew, Smoov, Hazey, Da MoFo, Ian Vaughn vs. Reliant, and MCs Rymetyme and Dub2.

A full-on production with intense stage setups, multiple DJs and live PAs, and a stacked lineup representing the best in techno, trance, house, breaks, DnB, and hardcore.
