Mattress Factory's annual Garden Party goes Gothic with performances, dancing, art auction, and costume contest.
On Friday, June 12, 2026, Mattress Factory presents Garden Party: Gothic, the museum's biggest event of the year. This immersive benefit transforms the museum into a night of dancing, dining, spectacle, and celebration inspired by darkness, romance, rebellion, and transformation.
Guests can explore open galleries throughout the evening while experiencing live music, DJs, and performance art across multiple stages. Featured performers include Zinnia's Garden, Carsickness, Formosa (Stephanie Tsong), slowdanger, KWANG (DR. KARAMELOV and Kay Chin), Nonsite, Lefafa, and Sick At Work, with the evening hosted by Kat De Lac.
The event also features indulgent food and bars, a curated art auction showcasing one-of-a-kind works from local creatives, and the annual Garden Party Costume Contest encouraging attendees to arrive in their most dramatic gothic attire.
100 percent of proceeds benefit the artistic, educational, and community outreach programs at Mattress Factory.
