Inside Out Day: Let's Sogetsu! featuring House Music
A free daytime arts event at Carnegie Museum of Art featuring Ikebana demonstrations by Sogetsu Pittsburgh accompanied by house music.
This Saturday during Inside Out, join Carnegie Museum of Art and Sogetsu Pittsburgh (@Sogetsu.Ikebana.Pittsburgh) in creating a large-scale collaborative ikebana arrangement that will become the centerpiece of the museum’s Sculpture Court. To celebrate the Sogetsu School's upcoming 100th anniversary, the first 100 attendees will each contribute an element to the installation, resulting in one collective outcome.
Throughout the afternoon, enjoy live modernist instrumental music exploring wood and metal textures from handmade objects. Sounds are led by House Music, a duo composed of Eli Weidman (@EliWeid) and David Bernabo (@David.Bernabo).
