PITTSBURGH CAT WALK
A whimsical walking tour of the cats of Brighton Heights
Pittsburgh's first cat tour, will be on Saturday, August 22nd from 12-2pm, starting in Legion Park in Brighton Heights! Wear comfortable shoes for a whimsical walk enjoying pre-planned house stops to view cats in windows and on porches. Let's come together, have fun, and support our animal nonprofits and rescues.
The event is completely donation based - minimum suggested donation is $10-20 per person recommended. All proceeds will go directly to Pittsburgh Paw Project and Frankie's Friends Humane. Several animal nonprofits will be available in Legion Memorial Park to support, learn about adoptable cats, and sign ups to volunteer with them in the future.
No tickets required.
Attendees are encouraged to safely bring their cats in strollers or backpacks. We will walk about 2-3 miles around the neighborhood making stops along the way! Bring signs, bring your kids and your cats!

Guided Group Cat Walk begins. We will stop at designated houses on the tour, to see kitties in the windows, doorways, and porches of the neighborhood!

Visit cats and non profit orgs in Legion Memorial Park. Stop by anytime even if you don't do the walk! Meet other animal lovers like yourself - let's build community.

Non-profit and rescue animal groups representing - Learn about cat care, check out photos of available adoptable cats, sign up to volunteer in the future, and make donations directly to the nonprofits.

Snacks for purchase - Shaved ice from Save Our Strays & rice crispy treats from Pittsburgh Paw Project.
Raffle including a handmade cat quilt and crocheted cat coasters, made special for this event. We will also collect your donations at the raffle table.
Whimsical fun - Gigantic cat puppets walking around, painted cat rocks hidden along the route, possibly random people juggling ... And most of all YOU! Bring yourself because you are so fun! Feel free to bring signs cheering on our cats or dress in theme. Let's be zany!
