Annual community May Day Parade in Polish Hill, Pittsburgh, starting at the end of Melwood at noon, followed by a potluck at West Penn.
The Polish Hill May Day Parade returns on Saturday, May 2nd! Join your neighbors and community members for this festive annual celebration of spring and solidarity. The parade begins at the end of Melwood Avenue at noon. Come dressed in costume — the more creative the better! Rain or shine, the march goes on. After the parade, gather for a community potluck at West Penn. This year's theme: 'Stay Bright: The Storm Is Here — Prep the Soil, Light the Path.' All ages welcome. A beloved Pittsburgh neighborhood tradition rooted in community spirit and May Day celebration.
