ReelAbilities Pittsburgh 2026

Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 ReelAbilities festival, which includes a fully accessible virtual festival Sept 4-13, as well as an in-person celebration at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse on September 3rd at 7 pm.

Film Pittsburgh has announced the lineup for the 2026 ReelAbilities festival, which includes a fully accessible virtual festival Sept 4-13, as well as an in-person celebration kicking off the festival with a screening at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse on September 3rd at 7 pm.

The ReelAbilities in-person program will showcase a block of 7 short films featuring people with diverse abilities in the grand PNC Theater. The films will be preceded by the 8th annual Meritzer Award ceremony co-presented by the City-County Task Force on Disabilities honoring recipient Tina Calabro and the films will be followed by an after-party in the Pittsburgh Playhouse Lobby.
ReelAbilities Pittsburgh will also host an artist market in the lobby before the screening featuring works by artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities from Creative Citizen Studios and Studio Forget-Me-Not.
