Resilience Rocks the Block
The event is organized by the Neighborhood Resilience Project (NRP), a Pittsburgh nonprofit practicing Trauma-Informed Community Development, as its annual community fundraising gathering.
On Saturday, October 31, 2026, the Neighborhood Resilience Project will host its inaugural Resilience Rocks the Block, a free, family-friendly block party closing Bedford Avenue from Erin Street to Devillers Street in Pittsburgh's Hill District. The day blends a fall block-party feel with community celebration: a main stage with live music, a costume parade and contest with a red carpet walk, trunk-or-treat, a kids activity zone with pony rides and a hay treasure hunt, food vendors, and a sponsor vendor row.
