Technique was an underground rave held on January 31, 1997, in Pittsburgh, PA. Promoted by The Sun Is Going Down and Empire Systems, the event featured a stacked lineup of electronic artists from across the U.S. including:

The event promised a fully confirmed location announced via info line on the day of the event. It featured vending by Juicy Fruit, Johnson’s Clothing, Future Sounds, and a Smart Bar by Cafe 2000. Sound was provided by Wizard Workshop.

Entry was $6 before midnight and $8 after.
