Description
How Things Are Made--Brian Riordan, Matt Aelmore, David Bernabo--is an improvisational band that often utilizes real-time digital signal processing of electronic and acoustic instruments. HTAM have released over 80 recordings with a cassette on Flag Day Records and an LP on Ongoing Box. The band often collaborates with other composers and musicians, and has previously commissioned 50 works from composers like Sarah Hennies, Helen He, Lu-Han Li, and others. HTAM has also produced two six-hour concerts, performing with a different guest every 20 minutes.
