Rodef Shalom Congregation is a historic Reform Jewish synagogue located in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood. Founded in 1856, it is the oldest Jewish congregation in the city. The building is known for its Romanesque Revival architecture and houses a renowned Biblical Botanical Garden, the only one of its kind in North America.
In addition to religious services, Rodef Shalom serves as a cultural and community space, hosting concerts, lectures, weddings, and public events throughout the year.
