Tilt Shift is a monthly underground party run by some of the Rust Belt’s finest techno devotees, spotlighting regional artists with styles spanning electro, drum and bass, minimal house, and more.
In January, we were honored to send Michael Kaiser and Ryan Schroeder to Columbus for Tilt Shift's two year anniversary party. The party was a blast and if you made the trek, you already know that these guys throw down.
In March, we're returning the favor! Two of Tilt Shift residents, brenner and Aaron Beckett, will make their Pittsburgh debut at brillobox alongside Longturn resident Noah Svec.
brenner
[HotBoi Records / Tilt Shift / Subdivizion / Headcleaner]
https://soundcloud.com/justbrenner
brenner is the ego end of Coma Coz, spanning the depths of where scary meets fun. You could describe this project as an exploration of broken rhythms and fluidity, pushed from his background of dark rooms and jubilees of the mid-west. Expect to be challenged, and dancing. brenner has productions out on Denver's label HotBoi Records and Detroit's very own SubDivizion Records. While producing is the focus of this project, brenner holds down 2 residencies/is co-owner, in Columbus OH, for events Tilt Shift and Headcleaner.
Aaron Beckett
[Tilt Shift]

Aaron Beckett’s thought-provoking style, makes people on the dance floor move their bodies, as well as their minds. Aaron began DJing in 2000 when he and a group of friends playing at private parties which, inspired him to create a radio show that focused on electronic music with DJ’s in the mix. Over a decade later, Aaron’s talents have brought him to play in cities such as Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Milwaukee, Chicago, Boston, New York, and Miami.
Noah Svec
[Longturn Music]
https://www.mixcloud.com/LongTurnMusic/andrei-balan-promo-mix/
With training in classical and jazz music, Noah Svec draws inspiration from both historical movements and cutting-edge releases. Stylistically, Noah leans toward the deeper side of Longturn, playing a diverse range of groovy tunes from all over the world. While primarily known for his live sets, Noah is also honing his production skills on hardware-based compositions that you may find woven into his mixes. In addition to appearances at LT monthlies, you can also find Noah spinning sultry selections each Saturday for Market Street Grocery’s wine bar.
