minimal / deep tech from the UKClub Night by Longturn Music
Cobra 4305 Main St Pittsburgh
21+ $14 / $18
Coming from London on July 13th we host an icon of minimal house and an original resident of the famous FUSE party and label, Rich NxT!
As well as FUSE releases, he has multiple EPs on Hot Creations and runs two vinyl imprints of his own, NxT Records and What NxT. He’s played on some of the biggest festival stages, such as ADE, BPM, and We Are, as well as some of the most famous clubs in the world, like Printworks, Fabric, Space, and the Warehouse Project. He’s no stranger to a small, intimate venue either, with marathon sets at Ibiza Underground and Berlin’s CDV under his belt.
We can’t wait until Rich and two other Pittsburgh locals take control of the booth at Cobra. Opening this time will be a familiar face, minimal/deep tech producer Nolon, as well as Jackson Berlin, making his LT debut.

Something special happened inside London’s rave culture in the mid-2000’s. A generation of like-minded artists and promoters with similar tastes formed a genuine scene, bonding with spirit and harmony and its instigators far and wide. Rich NxT played his own part of this movement, frequenting the many seminal East London venues and parties which remain an inspiration for that has followed.
Born in 2008, FUSE London carved its unique position on this scene with the legendary Sunday free parties at 93 Feet East. As one of the FUSE residents, Rich played a major part in the brand’s evolution, taking it from a free afterparty to one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet. Continuing as a core FUSE artist, Rich has delivered countless Eps on the label as well as his debut album on the label to rave reviews and varied DJ support. Elsewhere the DJ/producer draws on his strongly identifiable sound to run two vinyl imprints, NxT Records and What NxT. The tastemaker labels draw influence from techno and minimal house, while never forgetting the all important raving roots taking influence from jungle and hardcore.
Outside his core family Eps have dropped on many other labels such as Hot Creations, Eastenderz, Kaluki and Elrow, Fuse London as well as notable remixes for Cecille and Orbital’s 30 something project.
His DJ highlights include appearances at many of the world’s top venues such as Printworks, Fabric, D-EDGE, DC-10, Watergate, Shelter, Amnesia, Robert Johnson, Warehouse Elemenstratt, Fabrik Madrid, Mint Warehouse, Tobacco Docks, Studio 338, Home and The Warehouse Project. At the same time, he is versatile enough to command the decks over long sets at intimate venues such as Hoppetosse, Caposile, Ibiza Underground, Amsterdam’s BRET and CDV in Berlin. Festival appearances have included ADE, BPM, We Are Festival, Elrow, Cocoon in The Park, Off Week, BPM, Mint Festival, Dreamvalley and We Love Sound.
With such a busy release schedule he’s gained the support of many other DJs including Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati, Enzo Siragusa, Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, and many more…

Longturn Music welcomes everybody and has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, unwelcome physical contact, or any brand of bigoted behavior. If anyone at a Longturn event is making you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, or if you witness anything of the sort, we encourage you to speak with the door staff or our team members. We’ll believe you, and we’ll help.
In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
