Featuring Cutups:
Cutups aka Geoff Maddock is a lover of sounds and a long-time dj and promoter born and raised in pittsburgh.
Influenced by diy, midwest hardcore, college and pirate radio, rave, noise and experimentation, he's always been drawn to the darker side of art and music. He initially cut his teeth djing in the late 90s with an industrial, noise and hardcore techno themed radio show, and over the years caught the bug of collecting and djing a wide range of dark dance music from deathrock to darkwave, witch house and gothic post punk. In the 2010s he helped found the ILLUSIONS night that focused on bringing new dark sounds to the scene with a mix of live acts and djs. Along the way has guest dj'd at nights such as Ceremony, Coven, Darkwave, Obsidian, Evolution, Killing Moon, and opened for bands such as Gatekeeper, Youth Code, Perturbator, Boy Harsher, Adult, Hide, Xeno & Oaklander, Urban Heat and others.
