We are excited to kick off our first MESH of the new year by featuring some of our favorite local DJs! ADAB and Malzof have been great friends to the queer dance music scene here in Pittsburgh for while now, and we are very much looking forward to dancing to what they both have in store for us! ✨

As half of Cleveland party Heaven is in You, adab puts heavy emphasis on translating the unifying elements between us through djing. Characterized often by their palette of sounds, they made a niche for themselves in Cleveland, Ohio spinning a variety of sounds and venues alike. Having started djing dance music, primarily, as a result of finding Cleveland's techno party In Training and being a non binary black youth raised across a few states in the Rustbelt (IL/MICH/OH), adab seeks to unabashedly open up new perspectives and dialogues for both themselves and others.

Influenced by synesthesia and the connection between seeing, hearing and feeling is Malzof, the audio output of VJ and multimedia artist Julie Malice. Malzof layers together ambient, experimental and broken dance rhythms to propel blissed out, beat-oriented sonic journeys.
